Hotel Saint Augustine is seeking a talented and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixology, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences. This role involves crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring excellent customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, seasonal specials, and industry trends.
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking and ordering bar supplies.
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide seamless service.
• Follow all hotel safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous bartending experience in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or cocktail bar setting.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (TABC or equivalent) preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
