Job description
Fanda Hospitality Group are expanding and looking for a Bar Manager / Bar Supervisor to join the team at Southside Restaurant.
Southside is an East Asian restaurant situated in an urban jungle oasis setting in the heart of the Fish Lane precinct.
This is a service based role, including nights from Tuesday - Saturday. Your focus will be working closely with our Group Bar Management & Prep Team to maintain standards and training on our beverage program throughout all services.
On a daily basis, you will be:
- Opening & closing the bar and working restaurant service
- Supervising and partaking in quality control ensuring excersizes on a daily basis
- Training of newer bar recruits
- Attending our weekly management meeting to ensure any beverage related requirements are met
- Assisting our Bar Operations team to execute all events and functions within and outside the venue
- Communicating with our Group Bar Management team on stock and maintenance related issues
On a weekly basis, you will be:
- Maintaining and ensuring cleaning and maintenance rosters are adhered to
- Reporting to the Group Bar Management team of any issues
- Reporting to the Venue Management team for any bar related requirements
- Being a general support person for all bar staff in the venue
About you:
- Have experience in a high volume cocktail bars or high quality restaurants
- Have a passion for the buzz of hospitality and making great drinks!
