- Customer service
Take orders
Prepare drinks – soft drinks, beer, shake cocktails
Take food from kitchen
Clear and clear tables
Ensure bar, dining area and toilets (replenish hand towels and toilet paper when required) are always clean
- Manage inventory
Monthly stock count and update in system
Flag when new orders are required for soft drinks, beers (bottles and draft), wines and spirits, with sufficient notice to replenish stock
orders are delivered Wednesday and Friday with a €250 minimum order amount per supplier
- Drinks preparation
Prepare pre-batches when stock requires, fruit mixes and sugar syrups
Dispose of out-of-date fruit mixers
Flag when new fruit mixers and sugar syrups are required are take required action
Flag when other ingredients are required - milk, garnishing etc.
- Disposables and cleaning equipment
Flag when new disposables (hand towels, toilet paper, napkins) and cleaning equipment is required with sufficient notice (48 hours)
- Recipe development
Contribute ideas for new cocktails
These could be added to the permanent menu
They could be limited editions e.g. “cocktail of the month”
- Process optimization
Identify areas and processes that can be improved to make our workplace as efficient as it can be.
- Train new staff members
