I am a bartender who trained with EBS July-August semester in their International Bartender Course and their Mixology course, with over two years experience in customer facing support roles and the hospitality industry. I am passionate about working hard and providing the above and beyond to customers and employers. I have previous experience in event catering, visual merchandising, restaurant work, and administration. I also have a diploma in horticulture, as I have a passion for gardening. I moved from Dublin to Barcelona in June, and have currently achieved an intermediate level of Spanish. I am passionate about customer satisfaction. I worked in The Orchard Garden Centre from January 2022 to June 2022 where I preform roles in visual merchandising, store planning, sales assistance, horticultural advisory and specimen care. I have experience checking in deliveries, and preforming stock checks. Prior to my role in The Orchard, I worked as a horticulturist with Blaclois Landscaping Ltd. In this role, I preformed plant care and maintenance with heavy machinery, such as hedge trimmers, chainsaws, edgers, pole saws, leaf blowers and strimmers. I was mentored by a senior horticulturist who gave me extensive knowledge in plant taxonomy, physiology and propagation. I worked as a Crew member and a member of hospitality at McDonald's from May 2021 to January 2022. Here, I dealt with customer queries and complaints, welcomed customers into the restaurant, worked the POS system, and was trained on all stations. I also preformed cash counts at the start and end of the day. I conducted work experience for adminstration in the Four Courts in Dublin. I preformed case filing and storing as well as jury duty mail. I also conducted work experience in Palmerstown Community and Youth centre, where I preformed a receptionist role, administration and event catering. This Included checking insurance papers, creating timetables with Microsoft Excel, setting up for events, making sure events were managed correctly, providing catering for events, and answering customer queries through the front desk, phone and email In my diploma I took a particular interest in Garden Design and Business. In my course I covered propagation, plant physiology, garden design, plant pests and diseases, business and marketing and horticulture relevant laws (e.g. land laws, business laws, etc.). This course gave me a great insight into what I needed to become a successful professional, not only in the industry of horticulture but in many jobs in the business world. I am certified in Manual handling, as well as CPR, AED, and first aid training. I possess a NIE number and I am permitted to work in Spain. I speak fluent English and improving Spanish which I am learning to fluency, and can understand basic Italian and Irish.
