Hello, I'm Yanis.
My name is Yanis, I study architecture looking for a part-time job during my studies. I take the quality of my work and customer satisfaction very seriously and always aim to get better. I am perfectly fluent in French, English, German.
Two years ago I grew interested in bartending after a lot of research I ended up taking the EBS 4 weeks course, a decision which I am extremely glad I took. EBS has taught me a lot through its rigorous program. Things that I have learned at EBS include over 70 cocktail recipes and preparation which I can make in a heartbeat, bar cleanliness, beginner working fair, efficiency and speed, accurate free pour, customer satisfaction and entertainment as well as general alcohol serving policies and rules common around the world. In the 2021 summer, I had my first job as a bartender for the season at Havana Plage in St Maxime on the French Mediterranean coast. This establishment being both a bar and restaurant, I’ve learned to cater for both, as well as work as a team as well as alone. Having worked alone for about two-thirds of the time I learned the intricate time management that this requires. During this time I got familiar with coffee making skills too. My other previous jobs have trained me in stock and delivery management, customer interaction, money handling as well as kitchen hygiene and cleaning. I love to learn and can easily adapt to bars in specific ways and methods of working. Due to having studied in English for the past 9 years and lived in Germany for 8, I speak French English and German perfectly.
