Hello, I'm Leontine.
A creative who absolutely thrives under pressure, a very dedicated employee who prides herself on quality and sales-talk. New to the bartending world but it's quickly becoming a great passion.
For me, the best part of any job is the people. I have spent years involved in theatre in several capacities (both in school and professionally), something which has taught me the importance of a good repertoire with colleagues as well as audience members/customers. Especially interaction with the audience is some of the most fun I've had in my life, it's what always keeps me going through the stress and ridiculous hours that come with the job. In my time at EBS Dublin I definitely got the bartending bug for this exact reason - it combines the fast pace that always makes me thrive performance-wise with the social environment that makes it all worth it. When producing any kind of product, whether it's a simple gin and tonic or an elaborate stage-production I always pride myself on quality, something that can definitely hold you back in some situations, but also means I constantly strive to be better. I may be new to the bartending profession, but I am already obsessed and you'll find a very dedicated employee who always tries to give 100% at work. Apart from all this I also have a years worth of experience in a store, meaning I can handle a cash register and understand what it means to work with service and sales - the customer is not always right, but make them feel like they are.
