Hello, I'm Katrina.
I'm an outgoing, friendly, and hardworking student from England, currently living in Amsterdam, with a passion for fun and shaking stuff up!
I saw EBS Kos initially as a way of breaking free from the path society had laid out for me of graduating high school, then university, then waiting out the rest of my days in some office job I hated. Instead, for me, EBS was a way of creating new opportunities for myself as well as doing something productive over summer. I had never considered that I would find such passion outside of academia, let alone that I would be good at it! So much so in fact, I almost reconsidered my place at the Universiteit van Amsterdam to travel the world and work in bars in as many countries as I could, something I still hope to do. But that's one of the beautiful things about bartending, it's flexibility gives space to not only pursue my academic interests outside of the bar but to truly reconnect with myself behind it - where I belong. And in this way, I hope to begin building my bar experience.
