Hello, I'm Abbie.
I'm a bartender currently working at a cocktail bar in England, passionate about mixology.
I had my introduction to the catering and service industry with my first job at a fish and chip shop. I spent a year as front of house staff, learning how to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike. I left the chip shop to pursue an opportunity as a bartender at a brand new cocktail bar, where I've worked ever since. As well as developing my skills as a cocktail bartender and becoming proficient in my knowledge of beers and wines, I have had the opportunity to help a new business thrive and observe what it takes to run a bar. In summer of 2018 I completed the EBS International Bartender Award in Kos, which fuelled my interest in mixology. At work I am now responsible for developing the Cocktail of the Week, which I use as an opportunity to discover new ingredients and come up with a drink that is both different and relevant. I am now looking to expand my skill set and seek job opportunities that will challenge me.
