I am a legal professional by background who is committed to making a career switch to professional bartending in Amsterdam. I am an extremely agile person who is an active learner and is not afraid of new challenges and opportunities.
I have taken the first step towards that by successfully completing a rigorous 4-week International Bartending course from European Bartending School (EBS), Amsterdam in addition to a one-day workshop in Basic Bartending by The Bols Bartending Academy, Amsterdam. The bartending course, where I got a 100% score in all cocktail recipes, has given me the necessary toolkit to begin my career as a bartender. At same time, my previous experience as a legal professional for 5 years has taught me the importance of team-play, clear and effective communication, attention to detail, quality of output, client service, among others, all of which are critical qualities for becoming an effective bartender. I have also lived in various parts of the world – US, Latin America, Europe, India, in addition to extensive traveling, which helps me connect easily with people.
