Hello, I'm Amy.
I am a hard working and ambitious individual who is always well organised and on time. I am cheerful, trustworthy and enthusiastic and work well both in groups and on my own.
At the age of 17, I moved to Norway for two and a half years to study the International Baccalaureate, work and improve my Norwegian. As well as successfully completing my course, I worked in a care home for the elderly for 6 months. This job taught me the skills required to tackle complex situations and work under pressure. After returning to Scotland, I started working as a bartender at Zyka Bar and Grill for 6 months before spending a month in Amsterdam at European Bartender School where I successfully attained my bartending certificate. Zyka gave me experience in working in a hectic and demanding work environment. I feel that my time at both international school in Norway and EBS Amsterdam also gave me invaluable experience in communicating with a variety of people, a skill which I feel will help me to communicate well with customers in any type of bar.
