Hello, I'm Sam.
Traveling bartender with about 5 years experience in hospitality and 1 year as a creative bartender/mixologist. Preferences goes out to strong "before prohibition" drinks and Tiki vibes with a love for tequila and mezcal.
The year 2012 is where it all started. As a first grate student I started to earn some pocket money by working for a company that broadcasts employees for the hospitality sector. For the next 4 years I worked at many different events going from festivals to high class weddings and hotels as a waiter, bartender, kitchenhelp,... Per event, this experience dragged my further and further into the skill of hospitality and gave me insights on how to treat people the proper way depending on the situation. As I am rapidly disinterested I constantly searched to learn and achieve more, so when I finished my study I took a bartender course at EBS. Traveling, sun, knowledge, hard work, friends and fun, you can assume how it was. Following from motivation and the urge of improving I found myself managing a tequila-based pop-up bar in a hotel (under employment). Managing skills where not something I had before, but ordering ingredients, putting together menu's and recipes, handeling the cash register where daily businesses so I learned it pretty fast. Although, having a difficult time mastering small talk with the average visitors of middle age, I decided this world has more to offer for me then the local hotel in town. So here I am. Discovering and growing in the things I adore while seeing parts of this planet. I am looking for seasonal/part-time employment to fund my adventures and learnings. Have a chat with me. Kind Regards, Sam Prevost
