I'm a spontaneous creative people-person who's always up for a talk or a laugh but knows when work has to be done. I come from Belgium, city of Antwerp, beer paradise. Here I was born and raised in the hospitality.
Hi! My name is, as you've probably just read, Dimitri Vermeerbergen and I'm looking for a new challenge. Growing up, my grandparents owned an old school pub in the center of Antwerp. This is where I fell in love with my city, the people and most of all the hospitality industry. Ever since I've tried to gather as much experience and knowledge concerning my field of work, from basic kitchen skills to etiquette and beverage knowledge. A few years ago I started developing a real passion for the bar. This started while working in our own city brewery, de Koninck, when they had just renovated. I still dream of the all copper bar and 20 high quality beers on draft. After my time at de Koninck, I went to European bartendingschool, and a whole new world opened for me...
