Hello, I'm Majvie.

I'm an open minded, motivated bartender originally from Germany.

I've been working in the industry since I was 16 years old, starting off with basic waitressing. I proceeded to do the Bartending course in 2015 and had several bartending jobs since then. Right now I'm a full time season worker. I worked two seasons in Greece as a bartender/waitress and one season in Bad Gastein, Austria in one of the busiest bars in town. I love to work in speed bars and can handle pressure really well. But I also like to take my time with customers, advising them on drinks and creating cocktails for them. I love the contact to customers however I know that the background is just as important. Cleanliness behind the bar is my priority. There is no such thing as "everything is done, we have nothing to do". I can work individually as well as in a team, always aiming to learn from my colleagues or in return teach them what I've been taught. A special thing I learned with bartending was to work with fire as well and to create a show for my customers. Serving a drink for me is 50% about the quality of the drink itself and 50% about entertainment, making the customer feel special and welcome. Both has to be on point to be able to sell well. I'm also a strong believer in positive energy. The workplace has to be a happy place, where everyone feels welcome, safe and accepted. In a bar we are a team, not rivals, which is why I always carry a smile and always have a joke on my lips. All in all I'm a very energetic, happy person that loves to learn new things.
